Restaurant Review: Marea, Dubai
Ideal for… a NYC hotspot experience in Dubai.
Restaurant name and location: Marea, DIFC
Cuisine: Italian, with a focus on seafood.
Atmosphere: Exactly what you’d expect at an upscale hotspot in DIFC.
What they say: This is the story of rarified worlds colliding to create a modern and chic institution. At the original Marea New York, the authentic, bracing flavors of coastal Italy meet the swagger of New York to form a new kind of gusto. Now in Dubai, Marea is bringing its signature style and hospitality to the world-class International Financial Center.
What to order:
-Burrata Lobster (a starter you must order, everything about this pair was perfection.)
-Garganelli (if you love truffle, this was probably one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had – cooked al dente, and topped with black trumpet mushrooms, black truffle, and parmigiano)
-If you’d like a fish option, I recommend the Branzino.
Service: Quality service, 10/10
What I loved:
-They have a hidden lounge downstairs, if you’d like to grab a drink post dinner.
-The quality – in everything. From the space, the dishes, the service to the experience.
Bill for two: AED400
