Restaurant Review: Hakkasan, Dubai

Ideal for… a true Hakkasan experience in Dubai
Restaurant name and location: Hakkasan, Atlantis the Palm, Dubai
Cuisine: Chinese Fine Dining
Atmosphere: The restaurant is actually huge, with a gorgeous long bar. For a weekday evening, the atmosphere was relaxed, and very much felt like the London flagship.
What they say: Located at The Avenues, Hakkasan in Atlantis, The Palm incorporates the restaurant and bar, segregated by intricate carved wooden screens and latticing that echoes the rich and glamorous interiors of the London flagship restaurant. Calmness, tranquillity and humility are translated into an elegant atmosphere true to Hakkasan’s Chinese roots.
Hakkasan offers signature menus and a la carte options alongside an award-winning wine list and signature cocktails. The restaurant is open daily for dinner from 6pm onwards and the bar is open daily from 5pm to 1am.

What to order:
-Lobster corn soup
-Dumplings (they have a vegetarian and a seafood platter)
-Jasmine wagyu ribs (melts in your mouth)
-Sweet and Sour chicken (just right – tangy and crispy, my favorite main)
-Milk chocolate and hazelnut parfait (my favorite dessert, so good)

Service: 9/10

What I loved:
-In comparison to the old Hakkasan in Emirates Towers, this definitely feels more like the original one in London.
-The space is beautiful, and reminded me of London’s restaurant.

Bill for two: AED500
