Myfashdiary experiences... Barrecore in London!

Before we go further, I will say I love working out (Thank god for that… as I do love to eat too.) I tend to always look for new workouts 1) as I get bored easily 2) It is great to surprise the body and change the routine in order to not bulk up and work out other muscles that we don’t usually exercise. There has been a huge buzz about Barre in NYC and LA, and I had to try it out for myself. I found a fab studio in the heart of chelsea on Kings Road called Barrecore and booked myself in for a single class.

The studio is super chic off and reminded me so much of New York studios – super clean, fresh and a friendly relaxed vibe. Staff were super sweet, and also got to meet one of the co-founders, Niki who was at the studio at the time. With green apples on hand, and fash magazines like W, Vogue, Elle and Tatler on display. The class is an hour long and is done in socks – let me tell you, I have never done a class like this before but as soon as I started, I knew this was going to be a favorite. The class consists of Ballerina inspired positions (to achieve that perfect dancer’s body) and works the strength and tones up the abs and legs with a few arm exercises. I won’t even go further because it is definitely an experience worth trying.

I work out 5 days a week, and my thighs were sore the day after – which proves I’ve worked those thigh muscles I don’t necessary reach during my cardio and pilates workouts. Booking my next classes whilst writing this…
