My Wellness Guide

Recovery : Hypervolt by Hyperice
This is at the top of my list for a reason. I work out nearly every day, and the top investment on my wellness list was the Hypervolt, a powerful massager – which really helps sore muscles, tight muscles and knots. I love using it while sitting on my desk, or watching a TV show – it’s not as loud as the Theragun, so it’s perfect.

Yoga Mat : Meow
A beautiful product, and an essential right now due to the new rules of having to bring your own yoga mat to classes and gyms. Discovered this brand, and fell in love. A local brand, eco-friendly, made from 100% rubber base, and natural cork top – they’re also thick enough for your joints. Icing on the cake is that part of the proceeds go towards supporting local animal shelters.

Essential oils: Neal’s Yard Remedies essential oil
I have an obsession for essential oils, and started a collection while in quarantine. I use drops in my humidifier all day in my living room, and in my humidifier with a night light while I sleep (it definitely gives you such quality sleep) – and when I really need it, I like dabbing it on my wrists. What I love most from the Neal’s Yard aromatherapy organic oils, are the blends. I recently have been using the Meditation and De-stress ones in my humidifier.

Spiritual: Laverne Me
I am all about cleansing my space and energy. I recently discovered this gem of a website, and they’re UAE based too. I buy my incense sticks, white sage and Palo Santo wood from there.

Herbal Tea: Brw society
I built a love for tea after visiting Japan a couple of years ago. I love fresh loose herbal teas, and almost feels meditational when I drink my tea before bed. A Local brand I discovered while in quarantine, and they really have some great blends, and some quirky ones (based off of your favorite cocktails like the Moscow Mule). I have 2 personal favorites from Brw, all from organic production- Organic Yoga, which is a nice spicy blend of Cinnamon pieces, ginger pieces, cardamom seeds, cloves and black pepper, and the 2nd is Organic Snooze, which is a blend of rosehip shells, lemongrass, blackberry leaves, lemon verbena, chamomile, and orange peel.

Beauty: Organic Balms
I recently discovered The Saffron Souk, our version of Etsy, which can get addictive because it’s filled with gems – and ordered a couple of things. A favorite were balms from organic skincare brand, Erbaviva. I got the sniffles balm (made for babies) but a great natural and organic alternative during flu season.
