Tinted Moisturizer: Tarte Maracuja Tinted Hydrator
I am a sucker for tinted moisturizers, and this one by Tarte is my current favorite. Vegan, super lightweight and gives this beautiful sheer coverage, whilst hydrating the skin – it has a key ingredient of Maracuja super fruit that it infuses the skin with, alongside hyaluronic acid.
Available at Sephora
Blemish cream: Hero cosmetics rescue balm
I recently discovered Hero Cosmetics, a New York based brand – with all their products made in Korea (a plus). They’re also super mindful of all their ingredients, and avoid all the bad stuff like parabens, alcohol and sulfates. Been using their Rescue Balm, a post-blemish balm. We all know about the products to use for a pimple to go, but it’s the recovery period we could never apply anything on. This balm melts into the skin, and helps the skin look fresh in days during the recovery.
Lips: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lip liner
One of my ultimate favorite lip liners and shade – you can’t get a more perfect nude pink. I do also wear this all over my lips without a lipstick (it doesn’t dry out your skin), and it’s waterproof and long-lasting.
-Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer
I NEVER go for concealers this heavy, but I’ve been hearing so much about the sensual skin enhancer by Kevyn Aucoin (the brand is now available in the region). I love this to brighten and majorly cover on nights out. A little goes a long way, I literally just use a dot from this product, and then use a beauty blender to blend it all in.
Available at Apotheca Beauty
Serum: Cliv Revitalizing Corrector Ampoule (from skin garden)
I love Korean beauty products – love, love. I recently discovered Skin Garden – a Dubai based e-commerce site for Korean skincare brands with natural ingredients. Been using this serum after my cleanser, a Vitamin C ampoule to brighten, and an anti-wrinkle. Refreshing and light, and uses active ingredients like Poria Cocos, and Licorice root extract.
