Five Favorite Beauty Buys: December 2017
Highlighter: MAC face powder in Happy go Dazzlingly
When it comes to limited edition ranges, I always get excited to see what MAC have come out with as they’re super creative and the packaging is always incredibly pretty – it always feels even more coveted because you can’t get it again. I never usually buy highlighters from MAC, but this is my favorite at the moment from the snowball collection. The Happy go Dazzlingly is a gorgeous warm golden champagne shade that glides on easily and is highly pigmented.
Lips: Kiehl’s Butterstick lip treatment
Kiehl’s launched this signature product in festive packaging designed by Kate Moross – and is the perfect product for the winter weather. Unscented and untinted, the balm melts on the lips and is highly hydrating – made out of a blend of oils and butters – including coconut oil.
Fragrance: Gucci Bloom
If a fragrance has top notes in white floral or tuberose, it’s a winner for me. This nostalgic scent that just came out from Gucci is super fresh, and comes in a pretty bottle.
Blemish: Kiehl’s Blue Herbal spot treatment
Been a fan of the the Kiehl’s blue atringent, so had to try this product from the range to apply directly on spots. Effective with salicylic acid, yet gentle with Frankincense and ginger root.
Moisturizer: Erborian glow cream
I have been obsessed with the Korean/French brand, Erborian as soon as I was introduced to it. I love their CC cream, and recently obsessed with their glow cream – an illuminating cream that can be used as a moisturizer or primer.
