Restaurant Review: Sho Cho, Dubai

Ideal for… an old school Japanese classic in Dubai
Restaurant name and location: Sho Cho at Dubai Marine Beach club
Cuisine: Japanese
Atmosphere: I must say, for an outdoor restaurant before the weather has fully cooled down – this place was packed and happening.
What they say: sho cho japanese restaurant and lounge has been successfully operating in dubai since 2000, and in abu dhabi since 2007. sho cho’s dining environment has met with wide spread acclaimed for its forward thinking and highly innovative ideas. furnished with large white leather sofas on one sides and traditional dining tables on the other brings the ancient oriental culinary form of the future. the combination of ocean side dining and lounging and our resident international dj’s has made sho cho a truly unique dining and late night party venue.
sho cho dubai and abu dhabi are owned and operated by sho cho facitilies management services llc. the full SCFMS team is compromised of talented young and energetic people who have all been with SCFMS over the years and have become part of the success.

What to order:
-Prawn spring rolls: a lovely change to the classic vegetable spring rolls.
-Calamari salad: highly recommended, perfectly battered.
-Sushi: They have everything on the menu
-Mochi: My favorite Japanese dessert and Sho Cho’s serves some good ones (personally love the mango)
-Chocolate Fondant: If you’re craving chocolate, Sho Cho’s makes a good chocolate fondant.

Service: Cibi, our waiter was super sweet but it was a little tough to get his attention during the night.

What I loved:
-As Sho cho’s is such an old school classic, it really does attract an older crowd, and they really get down and party – which was so lovely to see.

Bill for two: AED500
