Five Favorite Beauty Buys: August 2017
Highlighter: Huda Beauty 3D highlighter palette
So proud of Huda – a Dubai girl, and one of the handful of bloggers that existed before the blogging boom began. Always been a fan of the HB launches, but this one is definitely one of my favorites. Highly pigmented – with a range of 4 shades that would work for most skin types. My personal favorites are the Seychelles and the Tahiti shade (Seychelles is more gold, where as Tahiti is more of a bronze)
Concealer: Tarte rainforest of the sea Aquacealer
I’m kind of obsessed with everything Tarte at the moment – and especially love this concealer for the summer because of how lightweight it is (a watery serum texture) and the coverage is buildable. I use the light-medium shade. Incase you weren’t aware – Tarte products are vegan, dermatologist tested and sans paragon.
Setting mist: Cover FX Illuminating setting spray
To hold my make up, I depend on a good setting spray to help create a more dewy look, and keep it lasting throughout the day so I don’t need to touch it up. Great for someone that likes the radiant finish – as well as if you’re picky with ingredients. This one is paragon, fragrance and talc free – as well as being a vegan product.
Lips: Nars Powermatte lip pigment in ‘Get it on’
This product’s texture is a little different to the liquid lips currently on the market. Super weightless, feels like water – yet quite pigmented. I love the ‘Get it on’ shade which is a rose nude and I like pairing it with their precision liner in Halong bay.
Skincare: Clarins Mission Perfection yeux eye cream
If there’s one thing I’ve been lacking lately – it’s sleep. Believe it or not, the main reason for under eye circles is due to dehydration of the skin. I love this product by Clarins – smells good, has an SPF of 15, and has a brush applicator which makes it so easy to use. Great with targeting under eye dark circles, as well as brightening that skin.
