Restaurant Review: Fuchsia, Dubai
Ideal for… the best Thai food in Dubai
Restaurant name and location: Fuchsia, they have a branch in Barsha Heights (formerly known as Tecom), and a branch in Business Bay.
Cuisine: Thai
Atmosphere: A super casual restaurant in Barsha Heights – I went on a weekend afternoon, which wasn’t too busy – it does get busier during the evenings and weekday afternoons.
What they say: Fuchsia is a modern Thai restaurant. We love making delicious food that’s healthy and fresh too.
What to order:
-Vegetable spring rolls (crispy with a side of sweet chili sauce – I don’t like my spring rolls soggy or too crispy, this is perfectly in between)
-Prawn dumplings
-Green curry with chicken (the green curry is made in many places, but not many places get it right. The perfect amount of coconut and lemon grass is in there)
-Chicken cashew nuts (if cashew chicken and sweet and sour had a baby, this would be it)
-Pad thai with chicken
-Sticky rice with mango (one of my favorite Thai desserts, and Fuchsia’s is on point)
Service: Our waitress, Elaine was the sweetest!
What I loved:
-They’re well known for their take aways, so here’s a great work place recommendation.
-Parking in Tecom/Barsha Heights can be a pain, but you’re sorted because they have valet parking.
-I have not had better Thai food so if you’re craving Thai food, this is the place to go.
Bill for two: AED200
