Beauty Notes: Day-Time Make-up

Toner: Lancome Tonique Douceur
The perfect day time make up is when your skin is glowing and I love this toner before a BB cream or a CC cream. Works on all skin types, this alcohol-free toner (which doesn’t dry out the skin) is filled with ingredients such as natural rose and elderberry extracts – helps with cleaning up make up as well as adding a light moisture on the skin that will ensure to moisturise, yet keep the skin at bay.

BB Cream: Estee Lauder Clear Difference Complexion Perfecting BB Cream
When I find a good bb cream that has decent coverage, blends easily like skin and gives me a glow, I fall in love – and this BB cream is just that. Works well with women who have an acne problem, being from the clear difference range – it’s oil free, lightweight, neutralises the redness as well as covers zits. It also includes SPF35, so you’re sorted for sunscreen as well! For women that have darker skin, this is supposed to be great without giving away an ashy tone.

Foundation: Bareminerals Bareskin pure brightening serum foundation
Incredibly light, a mineral liquid foundation and serum in one, this foundation has a buildable coverage and brightens the skin at the same time. I like it in the Bare natural shade, and love wearing it when I need more of a coverage during the say.
Available at Sephora

Bronzer: Clarins Colours of Brazil Summer Bronzing compact
There’s no doubt Clarins make some of the best bronzers. I love this one from the Colours of Brazil collection – Subtle, gives the most beautiful bronzed glow without being too heavy on the skin. Enriched with mineral and plant extracts, the bronzer has a mix of golds, bronze and browns in one palette.
