The making of… CITY WALK’s ‘A Stylish Affair’
As you may know I teamed up with Meeras to take part in their 3 day fashion event, ‘A Stylish Affair’ at CITY WALK. We sometimes forget that CITY WALK, a lifestyle outdoor destination have fashion
retailers as well so I worked on this exciting initiative to celebrate them. Last weekend, myself, Mohammed Sultan Al Habtoor and Designer, Buffi Jashanmal styled pop up shows to give the public a glimpse into the chic looks available in store – except they were styled in 3 different ways and aesthetics. My night was on Friday, and there was an interactive show every half hour showing off the latest trends – from Crea concept, Michelle Belau, Jessica to JNBY and Zmilelee. I’ve included a photo diary to show you an insight into the making of this great concept by CITY WALK – from fittings with the models to the media night as well as backstage on the fashion show night.
The impressive part of CITY WALK’s retail section is the fact that each boutique has a completely different style – Michelle Belau has more of a boho feel, where as JNBY make some of the best structured pieces and Jessica is all about fun, quirky and feminine pieces.
