Matte Foundation: Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet Smooth-Effect Make up

I rarely fall head over heels with foundations, but this one by Chanel is a winner. Velvety and gives a matte finish, this works perfectly for hot climates like Dubai. Light and mattifying, it feels like a gel liquid as well as feels amazing on the skin. The foundation also has SPF15 – extra points!

Primer: Smashbox Pore Primer

If there’s one brand you should be purchasing primers from, it would have to be Smashbox. I love anything mattifying and this one is a great product to add underneath or over make up, without drying or smudging the make up. A product that keeps your shine at bay – also lasts you 8 hours.

Illuminator: Bobbi Brown Shimmer brick in Sandstone

Bobbi Brown’s shimmer brick is one of my all time favourite Bobbi Brown products, and I always end up collecting the colours – and tend to pick up more bronzed shades out of them all. Each shimmer brick has 5 pearly shades – this one has a range of gorgeous nudes. I tend to use the lightest on the brow bones and nose, and sometimes apply a sweep of all over my bronzer.

Range: The Body Shop Madagascan Vanilla Flower

I love Vanilla as a scent, but sometimes some could be too sweet. I used to always buy the Vanilla mist from The Body Shop and was so upset to hear that they discontinued it, but in exchange they launched their Madagascan Vanilla scent, which I must say I quite like. This is warmer, with top notes of Frangipani, Vanilla and Amber. Perfect for a gift or a set at home… I love the mist, shower gel and body lotion.

Feet essential: Scholl Velvet smooth express pedi

I’ll be honest – I’m not the biggest fan of express pedi products but this express pedi by Scholl that they just launched has got to win as one of the best I’ve tried so far. Perfectly sized, and only need batteries – it’s an easy device that removes all the dead skin from underneath the feet, without hurting the feet. A genius way to keep feet soft in between pedicure appointments. The device costs AED200, and the Micralumina roller heads only need to be replaced after 10-12 uses.
