On my Plate: Toro Toro Brunch, Dubai.
I don’t do enough brunches in Dubai, and always forget how much fun they are. I recently went out with two friends to check out Toro Toro’s brunch at Grosvenor House in Dubai Marina. Brunches are great if you’re up to drink, eat and have a great Friday. The food was great, the Sangrias were delicious, and I can’t get over that Guacamole. Overall, a Fab brunch.

Cuisine: Latin/Peruvian
Atmosphere: Completely different to their night atmosphere. For Brunch, there was more light (dark at night) – It had a crowd, but it wasn’t packed. More relaxed than their nights. There were available tables if you just want to come in and grab a table.

What to order:
They have a set menu brunch with lots of variety. Favorites included:
-Guacamole & Chips
-Solterito (fava beans, corn, cheese, potato – tangy taste)
-Turkey Ham Croquettes (smoked, with emmental cheese and mustard – they melt in your mouth.)
-For the main, they bring a range of meat with sides of Fries (olive oil & garlic), Cilantro rice, Frijoles beans and salad
-We ended the meal with crepes and a fruit platter with a side of custard.
Service: Fab! Our server, Steven was so cute and bubbly.
What I loved:
-The Coasters on the table – green for more food, and red for rest time!
-The Guaca bar with one of the best Guacamole I’ve had in a while.
-They have a range of dishes, but if you’re a meat eater, this is the place to eat at.
What I didn’t love as much:
-If you’re looking for an outdoor brunch, this place doesn’t have outdoor seatings.
