Myfashdiary experiences... Fine dining with Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester!
Last week, I was invited alongside 4 of London’s top favorite fashion bloggers to Alain Ducasse, the 3 Michelin star restaurant at the Dorchester Hotel to experience fine dining at its’ best.
We sat the Table Lumiere; a private table designed by Patrick Jouin and Tom Cruise’s favorite. The table is surrounded by 4,500 shimmering fibre optics and has exclusive use of a collection of Hermès china, Puiforcat silverware and Saint-Louis crystal. We experienced a menu created especially for the table by the Head Chef, Jocelyn Herland. The restaurant offers contemporary French cuisine that showcases the very best of seasonal produce.
5 course meal – lovely tasty dishes. I had a lovely Asparagus starter, followed by the beef and ended with a hazelnut chocolate biscuit pudding.
There was a cheese course in between main and dessert, as well as bowls of macarons and chocolat (p.s. best macarons ever – they are all made freshly at Alain Ducasse!)
After a lovely evening and delicious meal, we had some tea then headed to the kitchen to see where the art happens – the kitchen was super professional, clean, organized and calm – never seen anything like it!
We were given a menu to keep signed by the chef, orange cakes and a bag filled with macarons, ganache and noisette to name a few.
