Five Favorite Beauty Buys: January 2020
Hair : Oribe Gold lust and repair conditioner
I get my hair bleached twice a year, so I do need to focus on maintaining the health of my hair throughout the year. Other than the regular Olaplex and treatments I get done, I use repair and hydrating masks after every shower. I’ve loved this one by Oribe for quite some time. The Gold lust range is infused with oils like Argan and maracuja- insanely hydrating and softens the hair as well as adds shine.
The conditioner is available on powder.ae
Lips: KNC beauty supa lip balm
I am always collecting lip balms – I have them around my house and in different handbags. I recently got my hands on KNC beauty’s mint and rose ones – I love. Formulated with Moringa, Cotton & Kukui Oils and blended with Kokum and Shea Butters – you only need a tiny bit and it has a subtle hint.
Available at Apotheca Beauy
Face: YSL Touché Eclat all-in-one glow foundation
When I have good skin, I apply less foundations and more tinted moisturizer based products. This is one of my favorites because it feels like a tinted moisturizer and light foundation hybrid. Oil-free, it’s quite matte but still gives the most beautiful radiant finish. I’ve been using it in the Honey shade.
Hair: Got2b Glued Extreme Freeze spray
I’ve started doing half pony, and I love making my pony tails really tight. Extremely affordable, it’s perfect if you’re looking for extreme hold (wouldn’t necessarily use it on any effortless styles).
Vegan beauty: 3ina illuminator
I recently got introduced to the brand – vegan, paraben free and cruelty free, a Spanish brand pronounced as ‘Mina’ – they have stories in Ibn Battuta mall and Deira City Centre. I’ve been using the illuminator from the range – the shade is quite universal and has the perfect amount of pigment to wear from day to night.
