Ideal for… a staycation and sustainable stay in Dubai

What: JA Lake View Hotel

Where: part of Jebal Ali Resort in Dubai

The Rooms: I stayed in the Resort Course one bedroom suite, which was so beautiful and spacious – included a large walk in closet, a large living room, a balcony overlooking the lake and golf course (There was also an Alexa in the room).

The Toilets: There was a toilet and bathroom (which included a gorgeous bathtub, that I sadly didn’t get to use). The hotel uses their own brand of toiletries.

The Breakfast: A self-service buffet breakfast overlooking the golf course, with an egg bar, a coffee bar, a french toast station and delicious vegetable dumplings.

The Food (restaurants & bars): The resort has a couple of restaurant and lounge options, my favorite during my stay was the Indian restaurant, Kinara by celebrity chef, Vikas Khanna – which I highly recommend.

Why it stands out: Other than the fact that the architecture was stunning, the resort is known for all the experiences they offer (they also have a couple of pools around the resort), as well as a shooting club, equestrian centre, golf, gym, watersports, spa, fishing and tennis academy to name a few.
