-Check out London’s hotspot in Dubai, Scalini
I’m one of those people that gets pretty excited about a new restaurant opening in Dubai. Scalini, a fine dining Italian restaurant from London recently opened in Dubai at the Four Seasons (they took a part of Jean Georges). The space itself is super cute, cosy and has a lovely outdoor garden seating. Highly recommend their famous truffle pasta, burrata and finish off with their crepe suzette.

-Try the lounge menu at La Cantine du Faubourg
One of my favorite spots in Dubai is La Cantine at Emirates Towers – and it’s pretty much my ritual on a Thursday night. They recently launched an after work lounge menu that I think is pretty insane and tried it out on an early Thursday evening recently, then continued to spend the night. Available on weekdays from 5-10pm in the indoor bar and lounge, you get to share dishes that include their insane creamy burrata with cherry tomatoes, wagyu sliders, calmeri, quinoa, yellowfin tuna ceviche and their famous ‘Coquillettes de mon enhance’. You can choose the mocktail package for AED200 or two glasses of grape for AED250.

-Have a casual night out at Axe House
I love the fact that a new night spot opened up in JLT (it took over the place of Cocktail Kitchen). A cool spot (loved the brickwork, concrete and graffiti), Shoreditch inspired spot that serves British food with a twist (personally loved the Halloumi fries and chicken bao buns). The music was a mix of old school and rnb, they have a craft beer bar and our server, Francis was hilarious. Recommend it for a casual night out – we ended ours with a game of air hockey (they also have a pool table).

-Get all your treatments within one chair at Bedashing Beauty Lounge
One of my biggest pet peeves is wasting time so discovering the Bedashing chair at the Bedashing Beauty lounge (they have a couple of branches in the UAE) but I recently visited the branch in City Walk. A chair created for the modern busy woman where you can get several treatments at the same time from one chair – your hair can also be washed from that chair! Had my hair washed, blow dried, styled with a manicure and chrome nail art in just over an hour.

-Go healthy with your lunches with THE LUNCHBOX
I’m not exactly the healthiest when it comes to food so during the weekdays, I depend on meal deliveries for my lunch and have been doing that for a year now – I can’t do all my meals, 7 days a week as I love food too much. Recently, I gave THE LUNCHBOX a try –
gluten-free, sugar-free and low carb. The menus change every day – you get a starter and main (they definitely fill you up) and super affordable, you’d be spending less than your typical daily lunch takeout deliveries. Start from AED193 for lunch weekly and AED760 for lunch monthly.
