Ideal for… an authentic Greek food experience
Restaurant name and location: Mythos, Armada Bluebay hotel in cluster P, JLT
Cuisine: Greek
Atmosphere: Even though it wasn’t empty, it had this lovely cosy feel to it.
What they say: Mythos Kouzina & Grill is bringing authentic Greek food to the table. The simple, yet appetizing menu is a compilation of traditional Greek recipes and dishes. As you feast on your favorite specialties, you’ll find that all the food is prepared with the freshest, hand-selected ingredients creating a style that’s pure, light and healthy.
What to order: Everything tasted super fresh and homemade, here are a few of my favorites:
Tzatziki (my favorite Greek starter with pita)
Baked feta cheese (quite strong in taste though)
Spinach cheese pie
Mousaka minced lamb with bechamel (This was delicious)
Chicken gyros
Loukoumades (Greek dumplings, worth ordering!
Service: I’ve been to the restaurants a few times since, and the service has gone down since the opening. The staff can definitely be a little sweeter, and quicker.
What I loved:
-A hidden gem in Dubai, and I hope it stays that way!
-Olives with bread for starters.
-It had a St Tropez and Mykonos feel to it with the stone walls and turquoise hues.
-If you’re into Greek coffee and frappe, here’s a good place to have it.
What I didn’t love as much:
-I wish they could get the background music lower during the day, we struggled to have a conversation!
Bill for two: AED200
