Ideal for… Healthy and Wholesome breakfast
Restaurant name and location: Nathalie’s Cafe, Fit Republik, Sports City
Cuisine: Healthy Cafe
Atmosphere: Quite busy on a weekend, it was a mix of families, friends and post gym-ers. A very friendly atmosphere.
What they say: Nathalie’s is a coffee and kitchen concept opened in 2012 just for the health of it by Nathalie Haddad, founder of The Right Bite. Serving healthy and wholesome food that’s prepared fresh daily, free of any additives, preservatives, and words you can’t pronounce, Nathalie’s is an understated yet stylish go-to hangout for eating out, taking out, and catering. Coffees and juices, all day breakfast, freshly prepared salads and wholesome sandwiches, pizzettes, lunch and dinner, healthy treats and naughty goodies – there’s something for everyone.
What to order:
Zaatar manaeesh on puff pastry with a side of labneh
Foul mdamas with wholewheat bread
Avocado toast
Chorizo eggs (Incredible, highly recommended, a wrap with eggs, guac and salsa)
Wholewheat pancakes
Sam’s eggs (eggs with a base of halloumi)
Halawe chocolate tart (so good, if you love halawe, this is a must have)
Service: The staff were super sweet, and the manager – Elie, took great care of us.
What I loved:
– the space, the table prints and the interiors – I fell in love with the place.
– Everything feels and tastes homemade, which was lovely.
– We lack some good, and casual breakfast places, this is highly recommended.
What I didn’t love as much:
-I was a little disappointed with the coffee – bring in some speciality coffee!
-If you’re not living around the Sports City area, it’s a little bit of a mission.
Bill for two: AED200
