I recently had a day of playing with Urban Decay and a few of their new key products – the Naked Smoky palette and the Matte Revolution Lipstick. The Naked Palette by Urban Decay was probably the first palette I obsessed over, and even got my name on the waiting list – it’s no wonder most make up professionals and make up artists have at least one of the Naked palettes in their beauty box – and the Naked Smoky is the latest one joining the family. We used the palette over a couple of different beauty looks from a Day look, all the way to a work look, a holiday look and for a night out. If you would like to recreate the look, I mentioned the beauty products we used for each one.

The Day look:
We focused on a light smokey look that went with a pink shade of the Matte Revolution lipstick and we finished off with  the Perversion Mascara and Subversion Lash Primer . For the skin, we used the B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray, Complexion Primer Potion Brightening & Tightening and Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer  – after glow crush.

The Work look:
We used the Eyeshadow Primer Potion, focused on the brows with the Brow Beater and Brow Tamer and finished off with a striking lip using the bad blood shade from the Matte Revolution Lipstick range.

The Day Brunch look (pink shirt) look:
For this look, we went for a different kind of smokey eye – light on the inside and darker on the outside which makes the eyes look bigger with the Super Saturated Ultra Intense Waterproof Cream Eyeliner and Naked 24/7 Glide-On Double-Ended Eye Pencil basics color. For skin, we used Naked Skin Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder for a perfect finish.

The Holiday Look:
We went for a smokey eye and a dark lip. For lips, we used both the Matte Revolution Lipstick and Naked 24/7 Glide-On Double-Ended Eye Pencil – eyes were prepped with the Eyeshadow Primer- “Potion Eden” and Naked 24/7 Slide on Double Ended Eye Pencil. For the skin, we added some of Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Blush in “Kinky” color.

The Daring look:
For this look, we used the Eyeshadow Primer Potion Anti-Aging, mixed with “High” & “Combust” & “Whiskey” eyeshadows from the Naked Smoky Palette , the Perversion Mascara and Subversion Lash Primer. For skin, we used the Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup and Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Blush. For the lips, we used the Ultimate Ozone Multipurpose Primer Pencil and 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencilliar 24/7 followed by the Shiny LipGloss“1993”
