What they say: BOCA is a restaurant and bar that celebrates the cuisines of the Mediterranean coastal regions of France, Italy and Spain, in the heart of Dubai’s financial centre. Our philosophy is simple – take whatever’s good and fresh and delicious, do as little to it as possible, and share it with people who think like us.
What to order:
-Fresh baked bread with extra virgin olive oil (doughy and baked in-house )
-Beef cold cuts with grilled sourdough and pickles
-Zucchini Tagliatelle (light pasta dish with zucchini)
-Lobster roll (they got the sauce right, buttery soft brioche and delicious lobster with coleslaw and lemon aioli)
-Black rice and seared scallops (perfection, flavorful – recommended. Comes with clams)
-Cauliflower & Hazelnut salad (lettuce and black truffle dressing – fresh and really good)
Mascarpone creme brulee (imagine a raspberry flavored creme brûlée)

Service: Ace service, very impressive. They know their stuff and also have some charisma, which makes the dinner experience even better. The manager was a sweetheart and our waitress, Ljubica was so sweet and knowledgable.

What I loved:
-The whole look of the restaurant.
-They have their own Olive tree straight from Spain, which makes the terrace seating very charming with a view of the restaurant.
-They exhibit paintings from a different designer every month.
-They have a wine cellar downstairs, as well as a private room if you’d like to host something intimate.
-The vast choice of wine and cocktails.

Bill for two: AED300, quite affordable for a restaurant with quality ingredients.
