Hair Mask: Kevin Murphy Masque

I must say, I’ve been trying so many great haircare brands over the past few years, but one brand I’ll never forget to use is Kevin Murphy. An Aussie brand, who make some of the best (smelling and effective) products. I recently introduced two masks from the brand into my shower stack – the Angel masque and hydrate-me masque. Slightly different looking to other masks in tubs, this is in a bottle – which makes it feel more like a conditioner than mask but none the less a fab product for deep conditioning and repairing. The Hydrate-me mask is perfect for frizzy and coarse hair, where as the angel works best for fine and dry. I promise you… you’ll get addicted.

Available at all Marquee salons.

Contour: Tarte The Sculptor

If you love contouring like me, but don’t even have the time or the expertise to do it, this is your lucky day. This sculptor by tarte is the dummies guide to contouring, there’s also a guide that comes with it! A natural brand with amazonian clay, vitamin c, vitamin E and mineral pigments. All you have to do is apply the sculpting stick to the areas it shows on the guide (it’s very light weight and non-sticky), blend and you create the illusion of high cheekbones. Definitely a must have.

Skincare: Lancome Dreamtone customised skin tone correcting serum

I love those little magic serums that you apply to your skin and gives your skin some kind of nutrient boost and glow. I’m loving this one by Lancome, which is great for correcting your skin tone. A tinted serum that works on every shade of skin and instant evens out as well as illuminates the skin. During the day, I sometimes skin any kind of tinted moisturiser and just apply this. I’ve only been using this for less than a month, but I’ve heard raves that it does wonders to your skin after 3 months.

Finishing mist: Mac Fix+

Nearly all the make up artists I’ve worked with use this and swear by it – so obviously, I had to get my hands on a bottle. It has since become a part of my make up routine. Super lightweight, works both a refresher spray as well as a finishing spray, this helps make the skin look dewy and radiant, as well as holding your make up for the full day. FYI I don’t use it as a primer, but this can also be used as a primer before applying make up for a smooth surface.

Body: Hand Chemistry Hyaluronic Body Mist

Once you try a body mist, you’ll get addicted. I love beauty products that are fast and effective. After falling in love with Hand Chemistry’s hand cream, I definitely started trusting the brand and welcomed their new body product to my beauty shelf. A non-aerosol spray mist that is light and refreshing that you can spray all over your body for deep hydration, your body absorbs it very quickly so you don’t get any oiliness, stickiness, or feel like anything is on your body.
