Restaurant Review: Sass Cafe, Dubai
Ideal for… A night out at one of Dubai’s hottest openings of the year (The one in Monaco is extremely popular)
Restaurant name and location: Sass Cafe, Al Fattan tower in DIFC
Cuisine: mix of French and Italian
Atmosphere: I was there on a Tuesday night and it was definitely completely full and happening, hello Dubai IT restaurant!
What they say: The famed Restaurant and Lounge concept from Monaco is delivered to Dubai offering delicious dining and entertainment daily; Sass Safe style.
What to order:
-Burrata cermosa (one of the best Burrata’s I’ve had and even better than the Monaco branch!)
-Beef carpaccio with sundried peppers and dijon mustard mayo (The Dijon mustard mayo really finishes this perfectly)
-Calamari
-Gnocchi au Gorgonzola
-Veal piccata with lemon sauce
-Sour cherry with cheesecake (Tastes like an all American cheesecake with a sour cherry twist)
Service: Great – Ivan, our waiter really took good care of us.
What I loved:
-It’s a happening place to go out, I can’t even imagine how packed it would be on the weekend!)
-Great food with music in the background (Daft punk to Amy Winehouse and a live singer)
-It’s perfect for a night out with friends or even a romantic dinner
What I didn’t love as much:
-The tables are incredibly close to each other, so don’t expect privacy.
Bill for two: AED500+
