Restaurant Review: SushiArt, Dubai

Ideal for… a funky twist to your Sushi crave.

Restaurant name and location: SushiArt (they have one at DIFC, but I visited and dined at the recently opened branch in JBR, The Beach)

Cuisine: Japanese, Sushi to be specific.

Atmosphere: Casual and modern. Guests were constantly coming in and out for a quick bite.

What they say: A creative, responsible and progressive company made up of people who love life and are passionate about sushi. Our team is dedicated to sharing our passion with experienced, as well as first time sushi customers. One by one, we help them discover the fascinating art of sushi and show them how it can be an important part of a healthier and more enjoyable lifestyle. (SushiArt is the sister of Sushi Shop)

What to order:

-Edamame

-Seaweed salad

-Spinach salad (Simple, yet tasty.)

-Crispy lobster roll (lobster, banana, yuzu mango sauce and soy leaf)

-Thai style roll with shrimp (mango, cucumber, peanuts and spicy sauce)

-Mango tango (fried chicken, cucumber, spicy sauce wrapped in mango)

-Cheese and chive (My favourite!)

-Mochi ice cream for dessert (Mango was my favourite flavour)

Service: 8/10 – I hear mixed reviews of SushiArt, but I had a great experience.

What I loved:

-It’s a place for takeaway and sushi home deliveries – their black boxes are chic for office catering too!

-The quirkiness of Sushis – tabbouleh sushi, thai curry sushi, Chicken caesar sushi…

-Quality sushi right here!

-If you’re looking for Mochi ice cream, they make some! I loved the Mango flavour.

-The variety of Sushi choices.

What I didn’t love as much:

-Even being a takeaway Sushi joint, it is quite pricy.

Bill for two: AED200
