Ideal for… Delicious dinner and drinks at a happening lounge before clubbing next door at VIP Room!

Restaurant name and location: GQ Bar at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Business Bay

Cuisine: International/Lounge with great sushi

Atmosphere: Dimly lit, Dark, and intimate in the restaurant area – more happening on the bar tables but both were good!

What they say: Set across two floors and an outside terrace, GQ Bar Dubai offers a unique dining experience with a menu specially created by the Director of Conde Nast International Restaurants, Gary Robinson along with an extensive signature cocktail menu. GQ Bar also serves shisha, individually tailored to your taste.

What to order:

-Quinoa (interesting orange add on)

-Beef Carpraccio (Fresh and tasty)

-Sushi (California and Shrimp tempura – yum!)

-Vanilla and Orange Creme Brûlée (the vanilla and orange flavour gave it a twist)

Service: 10/10 and fab bartenders!

What I loved:

-It’s quite easy to get reservations on weekend nights! How refreshing.

-You can come in for good food, delicious drinks and shisha.

-REALLY good Sushi!

-A chic lounge to take friends who are new to Dubai or visiting… they’d be impressed.

-A really vast and good menu range.

-The fresh bread with the drizzle of Olive oil upon arrival.

Bill for two: AED200
