Ideal for… a fun night out in Deira.

Restaurant name and location: Cielo – Tapas Bar & Sky Lounge, Dubai Creek

Cuisine: Spanish

Atmosphere: We were there on a week night – it was full and happening!

What they say: Cielo Sky Lounge, now open at the Dubai Creek Yacht Club, next to the Park Hyatt, Dubai. Cielo is an ultra-chic roof terrace that is set to become the most talked about and must-visit party destination in Dubai, featuring the best DJs and ultra-cool ambiance, not to mention one of the most attractive places to enjoy sundowners combined with the spectacular views of the magnificent Dubai skyline.

What to order:

-Ensalada de lentejas Cielo (lentils salad) – very fresh

-Crispy seaoned chicken wings with vegs

-Mini cielo burger with onion, pickles, green leaves and melted cheese (my favorite, it has a lovely sweet pickle and juicy flavor)

-Deep fried eggplant drizzled in date syrup

-Leches dessert

Service: One of the best services I’ve had in a white… Arleen, our waitress knew her stuff and had a great bubbly attitude. A Gem!

What I loved:

-The reservation system… Restaurants and lounges take note. I received confirmation and reminder emails from ReserveOut (with all the details from the venue to the menu.)

-DJ with lounge music – turns out Saturdays is Rnb night!

-The open air vibe, but they’ll be closing in the Summer when it gets too hot.

-Delicious drinks & cocktails.

-A fab location alternative – great option in the Deira area.

What I didn’t love as much:

-I was disappointed in the Churros – they tasted stale and hard.

Bill for two: AED400
