Chic Stay: St Regis Hotel Corniche, Abu Dhabi

May 10
Comments

Ideal for… a  Refined Luxury stay and the ultimate sea view in the heart of the city in Abu Dhabi.

What: St Regis Hotel, the one in the Corniche within Nation Towers (they have two in Abu Dhabi)

Where: The heart of Abu Dhabi by the Corniche

The Rooms:

The hotel is on the top 16 floors of the 49 storey Nation Towers so you get quite a beautiful view. Mine was a full sea view from the 44th floor, absolutely amazing.  Every room comes with a butler on call, which the St Regis are known for.

Spacious, and luxurious with a desk, bed, sofa and even a dressing table – so I didn’t have to store my beauty products and make up in the bathroom.

The Bed:

My room had a King size bed – ultra comfortable.

The Toilets:

Ultimate luxury, there is a TV within the mirror, a shower that looks like a hammam and a chic bathtub. The toiletries are by Remede, an anti-aging beauty brand exclusive to St Regis Hotels

The Breakfast:

The breakfast at the hotel is a buffet one at Rhodes 44 – one of the best hotel breakfasts with beautiful and funky pink printed interiors. An egg, pancake and waffles bar, arabic food and Indian food sections with butter chicken. They also have takeaway coffee cups which I think every hotel needs to have!

The Food (restaurants & bars):

-Rhodes 44 (Signature British restaurant from Celebrity chef, Gary Rhodes)

-Villa Toscana (Italian)

-Crystal Lounge

Minibar: The basic drink and they had small St regis boxes with mini chocolates and nuts.

Pool, Spa & Gym:

The have a Remede spa (which I didn’t have the chance to check out), a gym and one of my favourite beauty lounges in the UAE, Sisters Beauty Lounge. They also have the beautiful Nation Riviera Beach club and a pool.

Price: At the time I was staying, prices started at AED950.

Extra points:

-St Regis is part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts (home to the W, Sheraton, Westin to name a few…)

-As the floors are high up in the Nation Towers, the elevator journeys are quite long.

-The hotel is a modern classic, great if you appreciate luxury.

-Great service across the whole hotel.
