I worked with Basma a few years ago when I started my blog and she changed careers to Make up Artistry – she has really built a name for herself in the beauty industry and is also Revlon’s Ambassador here in the region. Basma recently came over to show me some of her beauty secrets as well as giving me a light make up look that looked super fresh and warm.

-Drink coconut water everyday to keep hydrated – Once you’re hydrated, your skin looks a lot better.

-Start with a primer – Check out Revlon’s Photoready Perfecting Primer. Apply on the T-zone, Higher Cheekbones – anywhere it gets oily.

-For foundation, start from the centre then go out. Check out Revlon’s Nearly Naked (invisible foundation) – Push/blend the foundation into your hairline which most people forget.

-For Concealer, go for something 1-2 shades lighter. Draw it like a V under the eyes to give your face a lifted look.

-Apply product to your hand first then use a brush for the natural body heat to heat up the product.

-Love a Brown Smokey eye? Check out Revlon’s Colorstay in Adventurous.

-If you love radiant skin, Buy yourself Revlon Skinlights (I’m obsessed!) – Use the lighter as an illuminator with a brush on higher cheeks, nose and cupids bow & use the darker for contouring.

-Perfect nude: lip butter Revlon in creme brulee.

The lipsticks are made out of Cocoa butter, shea butter and mango butter.
