On my Plate: Roberto's, Dubai.
I have a traditional monthly girl’s night with two of my friends and this month we headed to Roberto’s. You can always count on a buzzing night – with good drinks, food and a great crowd.
Restaurant name and location: Roberto’s at DIFC, Dubai.
Cuisine: Italian
Atmosphere: Roberto’s has been buzzing ever since they opened and it’s still one of the places that always has the best crowds, good food and great energy.
What they say: Benvenuti a Roberto’s, where fine Italian dining meets contemporary design, presenting a cosmopolitan experience for Dubai’s discerning crowds.
What to order:
Wagyu beef roll with onion and garlic (super tasty, already craving this…)
Oven baked eggplant with mozzarella & tomato sauce (Their signature dish, you must order)
Buratta (my favourite!)
Bruchetta with buratta cheese, tomato & fresh basil
Canadian veal cordon bleu with rocket & cherry tomato (Delicious hot cheese inside)
Mediterranean seasonal salad (a light salad that works perfectly with the mini cordon bleu pieces)
Duo pasta of wild mushroom risotto & tortelli filled with spinach & ricotta (the Tortelli is perfect if you’re craving pasta.)
Service: Fab. The team at Roberto’s are amazing! The manager, Moustafa is a gem too.
What I loved:
-The interiors. The restaurant is super chic.
-The vast drink menu – you can get everything from a classic wine, Bellini to cocktails.
-Easy parking – just leave your car with the Capital Club Valet.
-Delicious food, I prefer the food to desserts though!
Bill for two: Quite Pricy. Around 800 AED for two.
