On my Plate: Maison Bagatelle, Dubai
To celebrate my mom’s birthday, we headed to Maison Bagatelle for a casual lunch. I’ve never been to the one in NYC, LA or Vegas but was excited that it opened in Dubai because of all the raves I’ve been hearing. For more on the restaurant, what to order, and how to park…
Restaurant name and location: Maison Bagatelle, Emaar boulevard, Downtown.
Cuisine: French Bistro
Atmosphere: Pretty interiors – not full, but cosy.
What they say: A chic, modern French cafe & Bakery.
Open throughout the day, Maison Bagatelle has the feel of a Parisian apartment with interesting pop art, over-sized chandeliers and plush sofas that are ideal for settling in for coffee and a catch-up.
What to order:
-Chicken Quinoa Salad
-Truffle Fries (fresh and love the truffle tinge)
-Endive Salad (have never tasted a more delicious endive salad-blue cheese, pear, walnuts and dried cranberries are super flavorful)
-Truffle Mac and Cheese
-Nutella Paris brest (Nutella donut)
Service: The restaurant was quiet, yet our waiter did get some orders wrong. He was sweet though…
What I loved:
-One of the best Almond croissants
-Valet parking
-Extensive menu – pasta, sandwiches, salads.
Bill for two: 200AED
