London is home to the coolest boutiques with the coolest designers we need to know about. One of my favorites, which happens to also be situated in Notting Hill next door to Matches and Ottelenghi is Village Bicycle. A lifestyle concept boutique where you can find anything from Dannijo iphone cases to Elizabeth and James sunnies to Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony… and unknown yet SUPER COOL designers. I recently had the chance to speak to the owner and creative behind VB! Check out the interview with Willa below to find out more about the concept, how she finds out about the cool designers and her pop up plans for Dubai 🙂

-How did the concept of Village Bicycle come up?
I have always wanted a shop, as a child we used to hang out in a shop called Frog Hollow which had stickers, penny sweets and all sorts of arts and crafts. We would hang out there for hours! Since then I have always wanted to create that same kind of vibe for creative people. Not just to do with fashion but music and arts too.

-I love the brands you sell. what are top 3 favorites?
Chloe sevigny for opening cremony, ashish and Felder Felder.

-Do you read fashion blogs?
All the time! Thats how we find out about up and coming designers collaborations. I believe blogs are always on the pulse for researching this kind of information.

-Myfashdiary is based between London & Dubai. Ever been to Dubai or any future plans?
I would love to take some stock to Dubai to launch a pop-up! What a good idea!

-Other than your e-commerce site that just launched, what else are you working on?
We have a collaboration with Craig Lawrence and also in talks with Terry De Havailland.. so its all go go go!
