Myfashdiary attends... The British Designers Collective at Bicester Village.

This Wednesday, Press including myself were brought up to Bicester Village (which is around an hour away from London by train). To be honest, I have been hearing about Bicester Village, one of the nine chic outlet shopping villages since I moved to London a few years ago – however, I have never had the chance to go up there (and honestly speaking, thought I wouldn’t find much at an outlet). Now let me tell you… the place is amazing – they have stores from Missoni, Celine, Gucci, Dior, YSL, Prada, Miu Miu, Burberry and Charlotte Olympia (however Olympia is only on for three months). Back to the event I attended… Alexa Chung hosted the launch of the annual British designers collective at Bicester village. Now in its third year, the pop-up boutique concept store is an exclusive collab between Bicester Village and the BFC, which offers emerging British talent the opportunity to showcase their collections in a unique setting. Names included Mawi, Erickson Beamon, Holly Fulton, Peter Pilotto, Lulu & Co, Kirkwood and Marios Schwab to name a few.

The event was super lovely – with speeches from Alexa, Harold Tillman and Desiree Bollier. The event ended with a shopping spree around Bicester Village. The sun made the day that little bit better.

Thank you to the BFC, Starworks and Bicester Village for a super amazing event.
