On My Plate: @Siam by Tamara Samman
@Siam is a contemporary yet highly authentic Thai restaurant that is located in Soho. The restaurant boasts a wide array of traditional Thai dishes from across the nation that range from stir-fries, noodle dishes to curries. I don’t think Myfashdiary has ever appreciated Thai food this much…at least not with @Siam in the picture!
Perfect for: An intimate lunch with a friend, or a night out with friends for dinner or even some fun karaoke!
Interior: Asian-style dark wood furniture and bamboo lanterns, with a sophisticated and trendy twist of colorful walls and pillows. A shiny and funky-looking Buddha is almost impossible to miss in the dining room!
Myfashdiary’s Orders: Gai Satay (chicken breast satay in mixed spices, coconut milk with peanut sauce) – Myfashdiary’s favourite!, Gai Pew Wan (fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce), Gang Keaw Wan (prawns in green curry with sweet basil and vegetables), side orders of fried rice and vegetable noodles.
Service: Friendly Thai staff who were very knowledgeable about the plates offered.
Price: Very affordable! – Absolutely worth each penny.
Fun Facts: @Siam also has a dining room on the top floor which can be reserved for private parties. A private and relaxing karaoke room is also present at @Siam!
