Ideal for… a pretty and healthy lunch tucked away in Jumeirah
Restaurant name and location: Culinary Boutique on Beach Road, Dubai
Cuisine: Cafe with healthy choices
Atmosphere: It was empty on a weekday but I loved everything from the interiors and food selection to the cutlery and glasses.
What they say: Culinary Boutique is a unique culinary experience, which was created after recognizing an unmet need amongst Dubai’s foodies and cooking enthusiasts. Located in the heart of Jumeirah, our café is the ideal spot to socialize with friends, have a business meeting, or simply hang out to enjoy great food.
Fresh and contemporary in design, the café at Culinary Boutique, which can serve up to eighty-two people either in our indoor seating area or on our outdoor terrace, strives to provide a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere ensuring an enjoyable and memorable experience for all our guests.
Our Cooking School comprises two warm and inviting state of the art kitchen studios, fully equipped with individual stations and a demonstration area, to provide hands-on training guided by experienced chefs. Classes are suitable for all skill levels and with over 100 classes to choose from, no matter what your age or skill level, we have a class that is perfect for you. We also offer a multifunctional venue suitable for any event. Whether it is a corporate office luncheon, or an intimate gathering or private party, we take pride in the details and individualized service that we provide.

What to order:
Lentil salad with pine nuts
Burrata and beetroot with pesto
Truffle ravioli (homemade)
Wagyu sliders
Pain perdu (a big portion that melts in your mouth)
Creme brûlée (comes in 3 flavors, espresso, lavender and pistachio – my favorite was the pistachio!)

Service: It was quite empty, so we were taken good care of! I will have to come back again when it’s busier, possibly on the weekend.

What I loved:
-Culinary Boutique is partly restaurant cafe & partly cooking classes — I love the concept!
-Chic interiors and space
-Fresh brioche and olives instead of bread and butter
-The cosy feel of the place
-A large selection of teas and mocktails (sadly they didn’t have Moroccan tea that day)
-The coffee was incredible (they serve my favorite local roaster, Seven Fortunes Coffee), and I’m hoping this year will bring more speciality coffee at cafes and restaurants in Dubai.

Bill for two: AED300
