Ideal for… a Romantic dinner over Indian food – perfect option if you want to impress

 

Restaurant name and location: Indego by Vineet at Grosvener house, Dubai

Cuisine: Contemporary Indian

Atmosphere: Being a weekday evening, it was fairly full. I also over heard a lady saying she’s been dining there every night that week 🙂

Guided by Michelin-starred Chef Vineet Bhatia, this restaurant is cherished for its exquisite contemporary combination of traditional spices and ingredients with fine-dining presentation.

 

What to order:

-Almond Tiki (A vegetarian starter option – crisp almond crusted green pea tikki with sweetened yogurt)

-Black gold (duo chicken tikka as a starter, black garlic – Super flavorful, a must order!)

-Biryani (If you love Biryani, they have a great range of options including a wild mushroom one!)

-Costal Jhinga (chargrilled coconut-curry leaf jumbo prawns, highly recommended as a main)

-Pop Phirini (Dessert – blueberry phirni, caramelized popcorn, chocolate slab and butterscotch popcorn rabdi icecream)

 

Service: Ace service, super polite waiters and always there making sure everything was ok, perfect balance. The manager also made sure everything was running smoothly. They definitely weren’t short on staff.

 

What I loved:

– A restaurant by Michelin starred chef Vineet Bhatia, fancy!

-Interesting dishes – especially the dessert with Sweet popping candy dessert and popcorn within a few.

-you don’t end up getting stuffed due to the breaks in between meals for hot towels or a snack to change the taste of your buds – example: Mango sorbet

-Quality Indian food
