Ideal for… a Tom Aiken experience in Dubai
Restaurant name and location: Pots, Pans & Boards at The Beach, JBR
Cuisine: British & European
Atmosphere: A great family lunch spot with lots of natural light, with lovely atmosphere, even during the week, with a gorgeous and rustic kitchen feel.

What they say: The new family sharing concept by British Chef Tom Aikens, a casual all day dining concept that welcomes large groups / tables. The food is a mixture of British Mediterranean as well as a little French and of course using some local influences with various spices & cooking techniques.

What to order:
White bean and black garlic hummus (interesting mix!)
Rosemary roasted peppers, feta, pine nuts and basil (sweet and salty – my favorite dish)
Burrata with spiced tomatoes (tasty)
Malt glazed short rib with crisp onions (melts in your mouth)
Sticky toffee pudding

Service: The servers were knowledgable and were great at making suggestions and helping out when ordering — and super sweet too.

What I loved:
-A restaurant by Tom Aikens, the British chef behind Tom’s Kitchen in London.
-I love how Tom Aikens brought British cuisine to Dubai by adding Middle Eastern influences to the menu.

What I didn’t love as much:
-I felt like they could work on making their sticky toffee pudding a little better (I had high expectations!)

Bill for two: AED250
