Hair Remedy: Rita Hazan Weekly Remedy

Sadly we don’t have this in Dubai, but definitely one to buy on your next trip to the states. Rita Hazan is a celebrity colorist based from NYC, and does some of the most famous heads in the city. Rita created her weekly remedy, which is a treatment to use on your hair once a week instead of your conditioner or mask, that is nearly as intensive as the treatment they use post color at the salon. The duo opens the cuticles to get the treatment to penetrate deeper, and moisturize via the rice protein in the product. It smells good, and you really do see instant results. I’m obsessed.

Face peel: Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel

I’ve stopped getting facials, and just stick to peels as they give me the results I want instantly. I’m talking about gentle peels like a mandelic acid peel, glycolic or milk peels. The Alpha beta peel comes in two sachets – gentle enough to not irritate the skin, but good enough to see results. I like to use this when my skin is feeling dull and breaking out. The first wipe exfoliates the skin with glycolic acid and the second is potent retinol and green tea – it really renews the skin and helps with breakouts.

Body: Tom Ford Shimmering Body Oil

As you know, I love anything that illuminates or shimmers. If your tan is still there, this is a body product I love by Tom Ford. Smells like summer and the beach, the oil is not too oily and gives off a subtle shimmer rather than glitter.

Moisturizer: Bobbi Brown Illuminating Moisture Balm

Another illuminator favorite, this Bobbi Brown balm is a new favorite. Smells like a spa oil, the balm has ultra fine pearls that gives your skin an instant illuminating glow, as well as highly hydrates the skin.

Range: The Body Shop’s new spa of the World collection

I must say I’m quite impressed with The Body Shop’s brand new collection – Spa of the world – derived from their wisdom and ingredients from their travels . Quite a large range (13 products to be exact) with some variety from oils, body masks and creams. One of my favorites from the collection is the Polynesian Monoi Radiance Oil – the oil is a blend of coconut oil and flowers and works on the body and the hair.
