My Travel Essentials.

If there’s one thing I do regularly, it’s traveling. If it’s not traveling for work, it’s traveling for leisure. I’ve been asked about my Summer essentials, and there’s no better time to share my list with all of you…

-Carry On: Rimowa Salsa Cabin Trolley

It doesn’t matter if I’m traveling to Abu Dhabi, Kuwait or New York – I need a carry on so it’s something I invest in. I’ll have everything from my laptop, SLR camera, book, make up to a quick change of clothes. I’ve been using one by Samsonite for some years now and recently converted to Rimowa. Functional, super chic (mine is in a beautiful purple plum shade!), and durable – not to mention always fits in the overhead cabins. Their aluminium luggages are definitely worth investing in. My plum shade is perfect when traveling as I can tell it apart from the rest.

-The Multi-tasking Handbag: Aspinal of London’s Marylebone Tech bag

For someone that is on the move as much as I am, the Aspinal of London’s Marylebone tech bag is the perfect buy. Luxurious, chic classic bag handbag that comes with a juicy bag and compartments in order to charge your phone and tech products whilst on the move. This bag comes in handy during long travels, transits and constantly being on the move.

-Facial Mask: SK-II Facial Treatment Mask

SK-II is one of the skincare brands I swear by, ecstatic that it’s available in Dubai now rather than having to stock up overseas. In addition to great facial wipes, I carry a mask by SK-II on long flights – they are quite pricy so you don’t want to be using them on short trips. Feel like a treat on the skin, the mask is filled with vitamins and amino acids to really hydrate the skin, as well as gently exfoliate – not to mention super refreshing on the eyes. Believe me, you really do see and feel a difference after those beauty gems.

-Lips: Lucas Papaw Ointment

Keeping essential with a bottle of water on the flight as well as beauty is vital. To keep lips hydrated, I like this non fuss cult product from Australia called Lucas Papaw Ointment, which is used for everything from burns, scars to chapped lips. A brand that has been going on for 100 years and made out of natural Australian papayas! They are quite hard to find as they’re from Australia but they’re definitely worth getting your hands on.

-The Cult hydrator: Egyptian Magic Cream

A cult product, I can’t think of any cream based formula that hydrates as much as this… Get yourself the 59ml tub for flight hydration – all over the body and on the ends of the hair if needed. Also works really well

after a hot shower once you reach your destination.

-Travel read: #GirlBoss by Sophia Amoruso

I recently finished reading the fab book by Nasty Gal founder, Sophia Amoruso. Not only is it such an inspiring read, this lady is so damn hilarious… and bluntly honest. She talks about her journey to where she is right now – her failures along the way to get to her success.

-Cashmere Socks

For comfort, I love carrying my own cosy socks – refreshing and keeps me warm during a long plane ride.

-Blanket Scarf: Cashmere scarf by Niftee

I have been using my blanket scarf from Niftee for a few months now and I can’t live without it. A beautiful dark grey shade, luxurious with my name in Arabic sewn on. It keeps me warm – works as a blanket and scarf.

-Luggage: Delsey ‘For Once Lite’

For luggages, I usually use Samsonite bags but for weekender bags (I’ve been doing regular trips to Abu Dhabi these days for work and leisure), I’ve been using the Delsey’s ‘For Once Lite’ bag – a four wheeler, super light bag, high quality and has a ton of security belts to hold everything in place. My favourite feature of this bag? It comes in bright shades. Mine is in pink obviously…
