PAMPER: Sisters Beauty Lounge, St Regis Abu Dhabi

One of my favourite beauty lounges, Sisters Beauty Lounge have just opened their new branch in Abu Dhabi (and for the first time can hire male hair stylists due to it being in a hotel) Situated at the fancy and luxurious, St Regis Abu Dhabi, the lounge have their signature Brazilian mani, pedis all the way to express facials, lashes, to waxing. I recently attended their lovely launch event over delicious dinner & drinks and live hair shows. I love Sisters beauty lounge for their quality services, professionalism, as well as always being on trend with new treatments and what’s out in the beauty world. I need to come back and try the highly talked about hair stylist, Gabrielle but I made sure to book in for express LALA lashes with Dolores & a Vinylux manicure with Alma.

PLAY: YAS Waterworld, Abu Dhabi

I LOVE Waterparks… and can’t believe I only visited YAS waterworld a few weekends ago when I was in Abu Dhabi. Great location, as YAS isn’t as far deep into Abu Dhabi and still very close for people in AD (30 minutes from the city of Abu Dhabi and 50 minutes from Dubai) so no excuse about location! The staff were fab, everyone I dealt with were super helpful, kind and great fun. All the rides were on except for one of the group ones – I went on everything from the group ride (the Dawwama), the surfing ride, lazy river to the watersides all the way to the roller coaster. The park also play tribute to the UAE’s Pearl-diving heritage with a pearl-diving experience (which I didn’t try out). Overall great day at the park… perfect for a Waterworld day out or even an activity to take the kids out to I got the premium ticket, which is double the price of the normal tickets, and not sure if I’d invest in a premium for the next time as there were times where we waited just as long as the regular tickets!

EAT: Nathalie’s Cafe, Abu Dhabi

Whilst I was in the city, I headed to Nathalie’s Cafe, a healthy gourmet cafe on my way back to Dubai for a Saturday brunch. From Right Bite’s founder, the perfect spot for delicious and healthy food. Going by the motto, Eat Live Laugh – the Cafe is situated in the TwoFour54 building. Relaxed, cute and very cosy, I went for a Turkey egg Benedict, which has got to be one of the best egg benedicts I’ve had whilst my partner got the Mushroom omelette as well as the wholewheat croissant. The coffee was spectacular and the cakes were sweet enough to satisfy a subtle sugar crave (I had the light lemon and flaxseed cake) They have a Grab & Go section which is perfect for a quick healthy lunch, and cost wise – everything is pretty affordable. If you’re sitting at the restaurant, don’t miss out on their Bread and Dip (fresh bread made out of Halloumi and blackberries!)

Uber has launched in Abu Dhabi, highly recommend you use the service during your stay and make sure to use the code ‘Myfashdiary’ for AED80 off your first ride.
