My project with Google.

I recently collaborated with Google on an exciting project – to get involved with their Google House. They have done one in London, Paris and a few of the big cities to name a few so it’s definitely a big deal for them to launch their next one in Dubai. Google House is a 2 day event where they invite press and government officials to discover the world of Google – all in a form of a house. They rented out the penthouse suite at the JW Marriott Marquis and had a travel room, Kitchen, and Fashion room to name a few. We might not realise but we use Google tools on a daily basis – Google maps, Youtube, Voice search and hangouts to name a few. I was asked to design the fashion room as if it was an Emarati woman’s bedroom. Obviously that was pretty generic so I went with a style i love being someone that has grown up in Dubai – a modern art deco style featuring one off pieces from Andrew Martin showroom at DIFC, fashion coffee table books as well as a rack with designs from Middle Eastern designers and pieces from top UAE-based boutique, S*uce.
