Paris Fashion Week S/S'14 Diary: Day Three

October 14

We started off Day three with a beautiful presentation at the British Consulate in Paris for the Alessandra Rich, where the designer and her husband alongside Sarah Mower were present. This season featured her signature delicate designs and silhouette in a mix of Cream/gold lace, light pinks and corals. You can tell if a dress is by Alessandra Rich, yet she manages to refresh the dresses every season. Yes, those dresses aren’t for everyone but you can’t deny how beautiful and how each one is a masterpiece. The perfect dreamy morning in the most perfect location.

Moving on, we headed to Baraboux showroom, which is the Handbag & Accessories brand by Princess Reema Bandar Al Saud, who is now on her 3rd season. I loved the concept of the handbags – Functionality and fits things – what you want from any handbag. Everything is made in Florence and stocks in prominent stores across the world from Saks Fifth Avenue Dubai and Bahrain, Matches, Browns, Maxfield, My-wardrobe.com and even though they are all very well made, to the level of high end brands – everything is under 1000 Euros. Impressive.

I also made sure to stop by the Charlotte Olympia showroom, which was themed ‘All Overboard’ – you can always count on Charlotte for a fun collection in a quirky themed showroom! Here are a few of my favourites.

Ended the day with Veronique Leroy, which had a front row including Olivia Palermo and Natalie Joos. The collection featured functional outfits linked with Radical elegance. From looks like military garments, skin and cream-toned beiges to graphic shapes, Leroy really had some fun with the cuts and hemlines.
