Paris Fashion Week S/S'14 Diary: Day Five
I started the day with a coffee date with the Moda Operandi ladies – Hayley Bloomingdale, Editorial Director and Bettina Santo Domningo, Media Manager for lattes and cappuccinos at George V Hotel. Personally, I’m a huge fan of Moda Operandi, and love their trunk shows – they are also really pushing their online boutique, which is just as good. They mentioned a few of their top favourites were Martin Grant and Mary Katrantzou. If you’re not super familiar with Moda, here’s a cute video that explains everything.

Moving on to a brand which always makes me proud (being a Middle Eastern myself) – Elie Saab. Styled by Sophie Neophitou-Apostolou, the inspiration was nature. Spring: time of renewal and youth. The collection featured delicate texture with colours sun as
Camellia white, eglantine rose, bougainvillea, and verdant green – combined with inky black. This season, Elie created more red carpet gowns in delicate lace to more daily wearable pieces such as sexy disco jumpsuits.
