I recently checked out JetSet salon (which is owned by the same peeps of Nbar) I always thought JetSet was the men’s salon version of Nbar so never bothered asking about it. I am always on the lookout for great hair salons in the Jumeirah area, so couldn’t wait to check it out. I headed to the salon to check it out, get a blowdry and try out their newly launched braid bar (I am a braid fanatic, so this was super exciting for me.)

Popped into the Palm strip branch, which is right next to Real Pilates (pilates-starbucks-nails & hair sounds perfect.) the salon has a green/white theme – a different one to N bar’s pink-white, but still gives off a clean and slick atmosphere. As soon as I arrived, I went for a wash and blowdry (they use Redken and Kerastase products in case you were wondering) I also loved the fact that they had all the latest UK fashion magazines. I was then given an Ipad with a braid gallery – sooo exciting! I must say, I did go through a dilemma as there were around 40 pictures of different braids that all looked good.

As I was going for a pouffy dress for my night out, I decided to go for a look that I can keep my hair down, and not look too dramatic. I then decided to go for the side braids, which my hairdresser, Elena adjusted according to my hair and cut. I took a few iphone photographs as well as some camera ones to share with you above. I was so obsessed with it, I came in for a 2nd!
