BEAUTY BUZZ: July 2012
Body Oil: The Body shop moringa oil
A great beautifying oil that can be used for a million and one things. The nut oil is great with keeping you hydrated – Personally, I love using it after a shower to keep my skin smooth, soft and at bay (it sinks in quite easily, not a fan of the ones that keep you greased up!) Fragrance is quite strong so make sure you love strong floral scents!
Bronzer: BareMinerals bronzer in High Dive
There has been a lot of buzz on this bronzer, which made me want to try it out. I am quite picky with bronzers and must say, I really loved this in the High Dive shade! The bronzer has a high pigment, so just a little touch on the brush is more than enough.
Perfume: Roberto Cavalli
I am a perfume addict and this one is my favorite at the moment. It has a strong note of orange blossom, which is a winner for me.
Nails: Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Cuticle Eraser + Balm
With London’s winter weather and Dubai’s humidity – I need to stay moisturized and a place we sometimes forget about are our cuticles! I love practical products and when I came across this one, I had to give it a try. As small as your lipbalm, fits perfectly into the handbag and great to use on a daily basis to avoid dry and painful cuticles… It also smells of cucumbers and looks pretty.
Foundation: Clarins Ever Matte liquid foundation
A winning foundation for me? One that stays put, has a great matte finish (greasy skin is a no no for me.), smells great and has SPF within it. This Clarins Ever Matte foundation has all that I mentioned – definitely a product I love!
Concealer: Lancome Effacernes Longue Tenue
A great concealer comes a long way – This month I have discovered this great long lasting one by Lancome which not only has great coverage, it also has a great highlighter sheen to it, as well as having SPF 12 within the formula – If you’re looking for a great concealer, this is definitely a fave.
Bath: Champneys Spa Indugence Exotic Retreat Bubble Haven
I love great smelling bath products. This month I have been using this lovely one by Champneys which includes coconut milk, Papaya & Ylang Ylang – it also works as a yummy shower gel & includes a gold shimmer within the gel.
Lashes: Model Co Fibre Lash Mascara
I recently tried out Model Co’s Fibre lash mascara (Dannii Minogue is the face) and was quite impressed and have been using it throughout the month. A box comes with two tubes – an extension mascara which you put on first, followed by Fibre Lash, which builds on your lash, followed by another application of the Extension Mascara to darken the fibre lashes and keep them in place – really does give the illusion of false lashes! Available to purchase here & can be paid on delivery (For Middle Eastern customers)
Hair: Knot Genie Detangling brush
There’s nothing worse than tangled hair that just builds up. I always make sure to brush out my hair after a shower even though I let it air dry. I was recently introduced to Knot Genie‘s detangling brush which is a lot more useful than I thought it would be. I love using it on wet hair after the shower. If you have kids, this is perfect too! I have also caught a few salons using it too 🙂
