When people tell me they are visiting Dubai and need nail salon recommendations – I seem to have a few I can always recommend. In London, I am still trying to put together a list which is why I like checking out different nail salons around London town… I recently popped over to Coco Nail bar in Portobello for a mani/pedi (It is literally in the middle of portobello market – perfect if you ever want to pamper yourself after a day at the market!) Either way, a great location and based in Notting Hill.

The salon was super spacious, and cosy (it was pouring outside!) with a bunch of lovely staff who took care of me the second I entered the salon. I got comfy in my massage chair (love the extra massage pampering whilst getting your nails done) and was given a selection of fashion magazines, and a menu – AS THEY HAVE AN ACTUAL BAR AND BARTENDER IN THE SALON. how amazing?! As it was a morning appointment, I wanted to go for a Latte but unfortunately the coffee machine was broken that morning but they did have an extensive range of juices, cocktails with fun names, teas and sushi. The salon also has a ton of nail and beauty merchandise – everything from corset clippers to make up to nail polish.

Back to the actual treatment, my therapists were super sweet and welcoming. They were also great – it was a much needed mani/pedi session due to the cold weather which left my skin super dry… The pedi also included a lovely lemon scrub which gave me baby soft feet 🙂 I went for an Essie blue and feels good to have perfect manicured nails for the week ahead.
