BEAUTY BUZZ: November 2011

November 30

Nails: Nailease – The Instant Manicure
Ever since moving to London, I have had my nails done everywhere and still haven’t found the best nail salon (feel free to recommend below!) Luckily, this had made me learn to give myself mini manicures as I get bored of nail colors easily. I was recently introduced to Nailsease which is a nail wrap, but A LOT easier than the ones available in store at the moment. They come in very fun prints & don’t need a mini hair dryer to stick on. All you have to do is place the sticker on your nail, file the excess and ta-da! new nails in no time…

Moisture: Carmex Moisture plus
the weather has been chilly here in London & I had the flu for over two weeks! The wintery weather dries up your skin (especially the lips) so I always look out for lipbalms with heavy moisture – i.e. Vaseline. I just came across the Carmex moisture plus & I love how it comes in a stick. easy to carry around & put on whilst running around town!

Hair: Bumble + Bumble Let it shine (shampoo, conditioner and finishing spray)
Like it or not, Winter has been slowly approaching & the weather not  only dries up your lips & skin, but also your hair – Great fan of Bumble + Bumble’s products but their Let it shine range is just fab – smells great & gives you that perfect amount of shine, without giving a greasy look.

Lips: Rimmel Vinyl gloss
I’m a fan of Rimmel make up – you really get great products for the price you pay. I was introduced to the Rimmel Vinyl gloss over two months ago and have been using it instead of my bright pink & red lipsticks… a gloss but the color is so rich, it looks like lipstick & gloss mixed together on the lips. I also love how the wand is quite large & ‘cushion-y’ and smells SO good…

Fragrance: Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy
I’m sure you’ve learnt of my perfume obsession already… and due to the fact that I’m a Juicy girl… see HERE  – I love Juicy perfumes. Other than the fact that the bottles look very expensive… the fragrances have a strong & concentrated smell, but are still perfect for an all day perfume. I’m a sucker for gardenia notes and hints – you should check this one out!

Lashes: Urban Decay Urban Lash
I have known Urban Decay for years but it wasn’t till I was living in New York earlier this year that I really discovered how great Urban Decay was – I currently use a whole range of their products and constantly get recommendations to try out different products from the brand. I was recently at The Outnet’s Christmas dress up party (where they had Urban Decay lash bars!) and had the glamour-esque ones put on me and I was impressed with how natural, yet how they opened the eyes and gave them the perfect amount of Drama.
