This season, I only managed to do two days in Paris – one for the Tod’s Signature event, which would have to be the best Fashion week party I have attended, as well as the Chanel event, which makes up for missing all the other shows and ended with a visit to Carven’s studio to view the SS12 collection!

Chanel is more than just a show – it is an actual performance. Everytime I arrive to the Grand Palais in Paris for Chanel… I am reminded on why I love fashion so much. This season was no different… The attention to detail in the collection was exquisite – Karl never does wrong in my eyes. The setting was an underwater white world, with beautiful silver and white architecture by Zaha Hadid, and a ‘What the Water gave me’ performance by Florence Welch. Models also had pearls on their hair, face, ears and bodies. The collection was light – perfect for Dubai’s Spring-Summer season.  What a perfect and most breathtaking morning?
