The Rib Room originated from London and is a contemporary-style steakhouse that offers a wide variety of steaks, yet simultaneously offers fish, shellfish, as well as vegetarian dishes.
Perfect for: Intimate dinners or sophisticated business lunches – available from AED 130 per person (3 three courses) or AED 150 (three courses plus one glass of wine).
Interior: Chic and trendy décor – Recently refurbished with mustard satin seating and animal printed seating, mahogany walls with low dim lighting.
Myfashdiary’s Orders: Black Angus Beef Carpaccio and The Rib Room Salad (Starters), Milk Fed Veal Ribs – Beer and Honey Mustard Glazed and Australian Wagyu Beef – 200g Kobe Cuisine Tenderloin with Mushroom Cream (Main Course), Truffle Mashed Potato and Steamed Vegetables (Sides), Crème Brûlée Duo (Ginger and Vanilla) and the Warm Chocolate Liquid Fondant with Espresso Ice Cream (Desserts).
Lighter Options: Half Dozen Tsarskaya Oysters, Legumes Millefeuille, Organic Salmon, Dover Sole Fillet.
Service: Friendly and punctual staff.
Price: Relatively pricey, however, certainly a good value for money!
Fun Facts: The main dining room seats 95 and there is a private dining room that seats up to 18 guests. Next door to the Rib Room, the Agency is now offering weekly themed evenings. On Sunday nights, a sommelier is on hand to give casual instruction on the art of wine tasting. On Monday evenings guests are invited to partake in blind tastings, and Tuesday evenings are quiz nights to test self appointed teams of four to six’s knowledge on grapes and all things wine with prizes to be awarded to the winning team.
