1. Packing: I hate over-packing so I only travel with clothes that are quite versatile and plan a few outfits in advance.
2. Avoiding disaster: The airlines like to lose my luggage quite often so I make sure I keep my BlackBerry charger in my hand luggage.
3. Entertainment: You can never have enough music so I always travel with 2 ipods. I also take a good book and stock up on magazines at the airport.
4. Other essentials: Snacks (because plane food hates me) – mixed nuts and dark chocolate/Chewing gum/Tylenol PM/perfume (Chanel No. 22)/Dior Hydra life moisturiser/Malin + Goetz lip balm.
