Meet Tala Samman!

Tala, a current student at the London College of Fashion who hates wasting any time and whose fashion icons include Marianne Faithfull and Penelope Tree, has been an avid fashion blog reader for several years now. A year ago, she started her own blog, myfashdiary.blogspot.com, by literary locking herself at home one weekend and just going for it! Fashion has always been a part of her life. She grew upconscious about fashion thanks to her mother who interestingly is the current face of Nina Ricci for the Middle East (Way to go Mom!). Here are two answers we loved from our awesome Tala!
UrbanSouq: What is your fashion tip for the season?
Tala Samman: Instead of the usual bright colors, fill your wardrobes with more muted hues like khaki and nudes this summer!
UrbanSouq: What are five things you can’t live without?
Tala Samman: Family and my close friends, my blackberry, water, frappucinos and my Biker jacket.
With fashion running in this girl’s family, we think fashion definitely chose her first! Yep, it’s fate.
